One team = One Sentence
Your quickest recap of the NFL’s Week 1.

Arizona Cardinals
Made us think they could be decent this year but couldn’t close the deal.

Atlanta Falcons
No need to panic, Kirk is just getting used to the system and his new home.

Baltimore Ravens
Lamar does it all and he’s the only player on the team who can hurt and help them week in and week out.

Buffalo Bills
Started out depressing us that once again that Josh Allen wasn’t going to be able to get the job done, and then he flipped the switch.

Carolina Panthers
Yeah.

Chicago Bears
Caleb Williams had less than 100 passing yards, but at least they got the W.

Cincinnati Bengals
Ruined a whole lot of people’s eliminator leagues (including myself) while showing us that training camp hold outs matter.

Cleveland Browns
Is it too early to consider Jameis Winston?

Dallas Cowboys
Happy they weren’t playing against Jameis Winston.

Denver Broncos
Bo Nix is going to need some time, which unlike his college career that lasted 10 years, the NFL moves on from QB’s 10x quicker.

Detroit Lions
I think they are still on track to win the Super Bowl, week 1 jitters are real.

Green Bay Packers
I don’t believe for a second that Jordan Love’s injury is “a few weeks” recovery, unless a few is 20 weeks?

Houston Texans
CJ Stroud picked up right where he left off.

Indianapolis Colts
Never believed in Anthony Richardson and still don’t, 9-19 for 212 yards, 60 of which came from a prayer throw.

Jacksonville Jaguars
They were able to slow down the fastest offense in the league, but struggled with ball control and it inevitably lost them the game.

Kansas City Chiefs
Xavier Worthy could be the next Tyreek Hill in Kansas City, and Patrick Mahomes is still good at football.

Las Vegas Raiders
Raiders be raidering, two lost fumbles and an interception, you aren’t going to win games that way.

Los Angeles Chargers
The team they played as in the second half is the team we hope to see all season.

Los Angeles Rams
Cooper Kupp is open on every single play and it makes no sense, but even he couldn’t help them overcome a Lions collapse.

Miami Dolphins
Still fast, still fun to watch, and Tua still not good – just has good receivers who make things happen when he throws it up.

Minnesota Vikings
Sam Darnold finally has a good o-line and skill position players around him, let’s see what can happen.

New England Patriots
Ruined a lot of people’s eliminator league.

New Orleans Saints
Derek Carr looked like an MVP – against the worst team in the league.

New York Giants
My predication of Daboll being the first coach to be fired took a step in the right direction today.

Philadelphia Eagles
Sirianni is on the hot seat and it’s week 1.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Winning a game in the NFL without scoring a touchdown is beyond impressive, their defense is scary.

Seattle Seahawks
Still wild to me that they think Geno Smith is their guy.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Baker Mayfield for MVP campaign starting now.

Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels had a better stat line than Caleb Williams, but it’s week one, and Jayden’s team lost.

The Jets and 49ers kickoff Monday Night Football tonight in Rodgers’ return, hopefully he gets at least 5 plays in this year.

Till Next Time,
Trevor
