#19 Kansas Loses to Unranked Oklahoma

The Sooners came into the game heavy favorites, so this was no surprise. The Jayhawks cinderella like season could have come to a close last week when their starting QB was lost for the season.
Credit to Oklahoma for bouncing back from an embarrassing loss last week at the hands of Texas.

Final: Oklahoma 52 – Kansas 42 (+10.5)

#5 Michigan Handles #10 Penn State

Penn State held with the Michigan for the first half, going into the locker room only down by 2 points. However, the Wolverines came out guns blazing in the second half and outscored the B1G opponent 25-3. The Wolverines continue to play at a high level, while Penn State has struggled this year but seems to always come out victorious, until now.

Final: Michigan 41 (-7) – Penn State 17

Favorites Minnesota loses to #24 Illinois

Illinois came into this game ranked the 24th team in the country, however they were home underdogs to an unranked Minnesota team. Illinois QB Devito was healthy after being questionable with a ankle injury all week, and his 252 passing yards and TD helped the Fighting Illini beat the Golden Gophers

Final: Illinois 26 (+4.5) – Minnesota 14

#22 Texas snaps Iowa State Losing Streak

The Longhorns were 0-6 over the last 6 matchups with the Iowa State Cyclones. Today, however was no cake walk but the Longhorns overcome the losing streak and beat the Cyclones. Texas had their hands full with Iowa State today, as they went down 7-0, and eventually would blow a 10 point lead to go down by 4, ultimately overcoming the struggles and handing Iowa State their 4th loss of the season.

Final: Texas 24 – Iowa State 21 (+15.5)

#9 Ole Miss might have gotten Auburn’s Coach Fired

Bryan Harsin has been on the hot seat for months now at Auburn, and this loss could have been the nail in the coffin even thought the Tigers hung with the Rebs the entire game. Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels let the Auburn Tigers hang around, allowing 17 second quarter points, however they were able to hang on and let their offense do it’s work. While Jaxson Dart did not break 200 yards in the game, his 3 passing TD’s on 9 completions… yes, 9 completed passes, 1/3 were TD’s, carried the Rebels to victory.

Final: Ole Miss 48 – Auburn 34 (+15.0)
