Not a happy Monday for Matt Rhule, who has been relieved of his duties in Carolina as the head coach of the Panthers. He is owed over 40 million dollars….
40 million to do nothing? Where do I sign up. You can fire me for 1 million. Maybe even half a million. Who am I kidding, quarter million and I’m out the door.
After 3 years at the helm, the coach compiled a 11-27 in Carolina after stints as the head coach of the Baylor Bears and Temple Owls.
Rhule won’t be out of a job long, his name is tied to just about every major college job opening yearly, including this season with openings at Nebraska and Wisconsin already.
