Celtics Sweep!

Another super team has come and gone. The Brooklyn Nets were swept tonight by the Boston Celtics. The Nets have gone all in over the past three seasons, accquiring their own Big-3 in Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden. Trading for the…injured?… Ben Simmons, signing Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, bringing in Andre Drummond, among countless other moves. However, Harden no longer on the team, the duo of KD and Kyrie could not get the job done against Jayson Tatum’s Celtics.

This is could be the end of the Nets’ run at a title, with Kyrie having the option to opt out of his contract after the season. But in reality, I’m pretty sure he opted out long ago considering he has played a measly 103 games in his 3 years in Brooklyn.

Ben Simmons has not played a single game for the Nets since being traded from the 76ers to help them win a title this year… that didn’t turn out well at all.

But all of the talk the next few days will focus on the Nets and the failure they were, however let’s not let it take away from the fact that the Boston Celtics were truly the better team on the court, Jayson Tatum proved that he is a top player in the NBA, and the Celtics as a whole are a legitimate threat to the league.
